Abstract:

Making decision has become one of the most challenging responsibilities of managers in recent decades. Finding the optimum solution for multiple criteria decision making problems is complicated. Notably, Multiplicity of decision making indices accompanied by variability in quantitative and qualitative measures aggregates the complexity of decisions. Operations research (OR) and multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) techniques have enabled industrial engineers and managers to deal with such problems more easily. Although Spouse selection can be defined as an important multiple criteria decision problem, an applicable decision model have not been developed in this field yet. In this paper we propose an aggregated algorithm using UTA1 and Permutation2 in order to develop a DSS (decision support system) which supports user in the process of selecting the most appropriate Spouse. This system is simple to use and does not require any special expertise or computation.

Abstract:

Basic life support (BLS) following by Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) is intended to rescue the patients with acute circulatory or respiratory failure or both. The most important determinant of short and long-term neurologically intact survival is the interval from the onset of the cardiac or respiratory onset to restoration of effective spontaneous functions of these vital activities. It is commonly accepted that every physician, regardless of specialty, should be able to  perform CPR. It must be also emphasized that CPR, almost invariably, necessitates a rapid interventional follow-care with ACLS procedure.Without well-performed basic life support, advanced cardiac life support is of no remark-: able benefit, BLS and ACLS are processes that must be performed step by step and with respect to the patient's condition.

Abstract:

This study compared mental health, social support and coping strategies of abused women with those of a control group. A group of abused women (n=45) and a group of women who were not victims of abuse (n=72), completed Spouse Abuse Questionnaire (Ghahari, Atef Vahid, & Yoosefi, 2005), General Health Questionnaire (Goldberg, 1972), Social support Scale (Cassidy & Long, 1996) and Coping Scale (Ghadamgahi, 1997). The MANOVA revealed that women with Spouse abuse have lower scores in general health and social support and higher scores in coping strategies.

Abstract:

Background: Lack of social support may lead to destructive eff, ects on pregnancy outcomes, especially for women with gestational diabetes. Objectives: This study aimed to examine the eff, ect of Spouse participation in gestational diabetes care on pregnant women’, s perceived social support. Methods: This quasi-experimental study was carried out in one of the health centers affi, liated with Shahroud University of Medical Science, Shahroud, Iran, during 2018-19. A total of 80 pregnant women with gestational diabetes were non-randomly allocated to two groups of 40 members. The control group received the standard care, whereas the experiment group received, in addition to the standard care, gestational diabetes care as well as face-to-face and online education with their Spouses. Demographic and Diabetes Social support Questionnaire-Family Version was fi, lled by the two groups before and fi, ve weeks after the intervention. Data analyses were performed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, paired t-test, and chi-squared test with SPSS (V16). Results: The total score of social support in the experiment group had a signifi, cant increase compared to that in the control group (3. 42 ±,1. 16, 3. 06 ±,1. 14, and P < 0. 001). In addition, the three aspects of social support (i. e., taking blood sugar test, adhering to diet, and receiving social support) in the experiment group had a signifi, cant increase compared to those in the control group (P < 0. 05). Conclusions: Considering the positive eff, ect of Spouse participation on the perceived social support of pregnant women with gestational diabetes and on their healthy pregnancy, it was recommended that health policymakers should codify pregnancy cares, despite the cultural limitations, in order to facilitate maximum participation of Spouses.

Abstract:

Introduction: Pregnancy is one of the most important periods of life for pregnant women and their husbands because at this time, physical and psychological changes usually affect different aspects of life of these people, especially the quality of  their sexual life and interpersonal relationships. Therefore, The purpose of this research was to Investigation structural of relationships between Spouse support perception, marital intimacy and quality of sexual life among pregnant women. Methods: This research was a descriptive study using the correlation method. This study was conducted on pregnant women in Isfahan from 2021 to 2023 years and 191 pregnant women were selected by convenient sampling method and responded to the support in Intimate Relationships Rating Scale (2001), The Sexual Quality of Life–Female (2005)  and Personal assessment of intimacy in relationships (1981). The findings were analyzed in form of structural equation modeling and using SPSS 26 and AMOS-24 software. Results: The findings of the study showed that the direct path of perception of Spouse support to the sexual quality of life was not significant (β= -0.14, p<0.001) . while the direct path of Spouse support to marital intimacy (β= 0.79, p<0.001) and the direct path of marital intimacy to sexual quality of life (β= 0.73, p<0.001) were significant. Therefore, the results of fitting analysis of the model indicated that marital intimacy could play a mediating role in the relationship between Spouse support perception and sexual quality of life in pregnant women (β= 0.57, p<0.01) . Conclusions: According to the findings, during pregnancy, Spouse support perception affects the sexual quality of life due to intimate increase and perception of support when it does not lead to increase in marital intimacy cannot affect the sexual quality of life. Keywords: Spouse support perception, marital intimacy, Sexual quality of life, pregnant women.

Abstract:

Background & Aims Pregnancy is an important event in a woman's life. Unplanned pregnancy significantly contributes to negative outcomes. Social support, particularly from the Spouse, plays a vital role in preventing the negative outcomes of unplanned pregnancy. The spiritual well-being of women can help with managing stress during unplanned pregnancies. This study aims to compare the spiritual well-being and Spouse social support in women with planned and unplanned pregnancies in Bushehr, South of Iran. Materials & Methods In this descriptive-comparative study, 384 pregnant women (192 with planned pregnancy and 192 with unplanned pregnancy) participated. They were selected from mothers who visited comprehensive health centers in Bushehr from May to September 2023. Data collection tools included a sociodemographic/fertility form, Yildirim's Spouse social support scale (SSS), and Paloutzian and Ellison's spiritual well-being scale (SWBS). Data analysis was performed in SPSS software, version 16 using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results The mean total score of SSS was 72.26±4.92 in women with planned pregnancies and 69.93±6.56 in women with unplanned pregnancies. The SSS score and its dimensions in women with unplanned pregnancies were significantly lower than in women with planned pregnancies (P<0.001). The mean total score of SWBS was 67.9±2.89 in women with planned pregnancy and 68.12±12.68 in women with unplanned pregnancy. The SWBS score was not significantly different between the two groups (P=0.448). There was a significant correlation between the SSS and SWBS scores. The total SSS score was significantly related to religious well-being (P=0.017) and total SWBS score (P=0.037) in women with unplanned pregnancy, and the social support score of the SSS was significantly related to religious well-being (P=0.021) in women with planned pregnancy. Conclusion Increasing social support from the Spouse can increase the religious and spiritual well-being of women with unplanned pregnancies. It can also increase the religious well-being of women with planned pregnancies. Trained midwives and healthcare providers can provide the couples with related education and help them adapt and enhance their spiritual well-being.

Abstract:

Introduction: Hepatitis B may be transmitted via several pathways, within them sexual transmission plays an important role during adulthood. The strong epidemiologic evidence on intra-familial Spouse-Spouse transmission of this illness is lacking, and this study is to investigate this issue. Methods: The study sample was selected by random cluster sampling all over Iran. Blood samples were transferred to one reference lab, and tests of HbsAg were performed using ELISA method. Results: Generally,15944 case were studied, within them 2.64%were positive for HbsAg. Prevalence in married men was 2.92% whereas prevalence in married woman was found to be 1.97%. In exposed men 9.24% was positive for HbsAg, and in unexposed men 1.52% were positive (absolute risk increase in men= 7.72%, relative risk= 6.08). Among patients wives the ratio was 6.43%, whereas in unexposed women 1.02 found to be positive for HbsAg .Absolute risk increase in wives of affected husbands was calculated 5.41% and relative risk was 6.30 (RRI=530.38%). Discussion: The results support the probability of sexual transmission of hepatitis B in non-riskful sexual contacts ie, between Spouses within family. It is now also evident that the transmission is not only from wife to husband, but also from husband to wife by an almost similar rate.
